PCP Foundation Continues To Celebrate The Rotor Literary Awards
Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition, the PCP Foundation is proud to announce the continuation of the Dr. Arturo B. Rotor Memorial Awards for Literature this year. With a few notable changes, the contest promises to provide a platform for aspiring writers to showcase their talent and creativity. Aspiring writers and literary enthusiasts alike can look forward to an even more diverse and engaging competition.
One of the most exciting updates to the contest is the inclusion of a new genre. In addition to Creative Non-Fiction, participants can now also explore their poetic talents in the Poetry category. This expansion aims to encourage a wider range of literary expressions and offer participants more options to explore and excel.
To enhance the competition’s focus on individual literary merit, the contest organizers have removed categories such as trainees and consultants trainees. By eliminating these categories, the Foundation aims to provide a level playing field for all participants, ensuring that the awards truly reflect excellence in writing.
In a departure from the previous year, the Dr. Arturo B. Rotor Memorial Awards for Literature will not have any specific themes. This change allows writers to freely explore their creativity and submit their best work without any thematic constraints. It opens up a world of possibilities for participants to delve into their unique perspectives and narratives.
With a total of 80 entries received, the screening committee is currently undertaking the rigorous task of reviewing each submission. This ensures that every piece of writing is given the attention it deserves, and the judging process remains fair and objective. Participants can eagerly anticipate the final announcement of the winners as the review process progresses.
